About Me

I first found Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis when I was pregnant with my first baby and working as a bedside nurse in a busy hospital postpartum unit. I knew my body was meant to give birth, but I felt the negativity and fear of those around me was preventing me from enjoying this transformative time in my life. Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis gave me back my joy and even more. It gave me a confidence and excitement about birth that I didn't even know was possible. I went on to become a board certified lactation consultant and certified maternal newborn nurse and also attended many births as an L&D nurse. 13 years and 3 Hypnobabies of my own later, I am so happy to share this wonderful complete childbirth education class with my community and bring joy and love into the lives of birthing families.

My second (but equal) passion is breastfeeding support and education. After becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2017, I have continued my own learning by becoming a Thompson Method Breastfeeding Educator. The Thompson Method is an evidence based education and support program that also prepares you for birth and postpartum. I am the first and ONLY Certified Educator on the West Coast of the US. This program helps you to trust your instincts and give you tools to be successful in breastfeeding before your baby is even born.
